Nisqually Glacier
The Nisqually Glacier is one of the largest glaciers on the southwest face of Mt. Rainier. This epic shot was taken in the early morning when the sun had begun to burn off the fog near Camp Muir. I was lucky enough to capture this photo while my grandfather, 77, and my son, 7, marveled at the mystique and the magnitude of these massive ice boulders and the damage they could bring to any of the aimlessly wandering hikers.
